High quality as the ultimate goal
KHS Ostroróg is a family business founded in 1986 in Ostroróg, a small town in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, north of Poznań.
In 2021, the company moved to nearby Ostroróg. Over decades of work, KHS Ostroróg became a leading manufacturer specializing in the assembly and renovation of production lines, machines, and equipment for the agricultural, food, and wood-processing industries.
KHS primarily fabricates low-carbon and stainless steel structures in thicknesses from 1 to 25 mm. Before entering the world of fiber lasers, the company relied on a plasma cutter. Over time, growing quality expectations, rising costs of outsourced precision parts, and the need for faster control over delivery made external laser cutting less attractive. This became the main reason behind the decision to purchase their own laser cutter.
““The costs of third-party services were rising, and the parts ordered didn’t always arrive on time, which slowed down our production. We calculated that it would be cheaper and more profitable to buy a machine than to continue relying on subcontractors.”” Tadeusz Hańczyk, Owner, KHS Ostroróg
